Kilt2 reaches:
- The BBC’s ‘The day in pictures’
- Yahoo News
- And a CSS design site!
Woo! Fame and fortune here we come!
This site will work and look better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.
You might want to get a new browser.
Kilt2 reaches:
Woo! Fame and fortune here we come!
So I followed one, and became part of the no-www click. I’ve always been a believer in making URLs easier to use, but this page goes the whole hog and tells you how to rewrite your web address on the fly.
Sort of. The Kilt2 website has made Google News. In fact the Scotland Today site now features the article too.
Update: There’s actually crappy quality Windows Media and Realplayer videos of the article available too.
The Kilt 2 kilts were featured on the lunchtime edition of Scotland Today this afternoon. In an article presented by Cameron Stout’s brother, Julyan Sinclair… sigh
Scotweb’s lean mean marketing machine has been hard at work. The latest site I designed for them, Kilt2.com was featured in the Sunday Herald yesterday. Cool huh?
The article is available online, except they neglected to include the URL… doh! Also, the only address they did manage to include (to another site I designed, kiltstore.net), is incorrectly linked. Eejits I hear you cry! Eejits indeed.
Sick of sites requiring logins? Check out BugMeNot. It’ll show you a login to use on most sites which require a registration. Very cool.
Just spreading the word :-)
Yay! Big thanks go to Bokeh Bloke who very kindly sent me a Gmail invite, so you can all now get in touch with me via alex dot turnbull at gmail dot com. :-)
Olly (from work) has kindly linked to me, which is nice. I returned the favour, and followed his web-ring links to other Scottish blogs. And (not that this is a blog of course), signed up. You can follow the links from the sidebar here to explore what other Scottish people don’t have to say for themselves instead of wasting your time here :-)
Did you know that a Blue Whale’s…
Well? Did you? I thought not.
Pretty cool huh?
It appears I have been neglecting the site, as nearly all of the content has dropped of the front page! Must update! Must update!
Apple today announced that as it approached 100 million legal song downloads it would be giving away:
50 special 20GB iPods—one to the purchaser of each 100,000th song downloaded between 95 million and 100 million songs. In addition, the person who downloads the 100 millionth song will receive a 17-inch PowerBook, a 40GB iPod, a gift certificate for 10,000 iTunes songs
Er.. Wow. I want to be that 100 Millionth person SO much! If any of you lot win ‘cos I pointed this out, then I want a thousand songs ;-)
